a) Julie started watching Breaking Bad because her boyfriend was confined to bed, and he loved the show and there was nothing they can do together.

c) They strengthen relationship due to the fact that they are connecting on a same subject, they are both watching something they love, they have a new subject to talk about after finishing the series.

In my opinion, I think that its a fun and nice way to connect over series because it opens new discussion and subjects to talk about. On the other hand, I disagree with the fact that the relationship is based on the series, because then there would be nothing else to do.
