- much pour les indénombrables

- many pour les dénombrables

——> He’s got a lot of work today.

2. Are there many chairs in the hall ?

——> There are a lot of chair in the hall.

3. Have they got many friends ?

——> They have got a lot of friends.

4. Is there much traffic ?

——> There is a lot of traffic.

5. Has she got much time ?

——> She’s got a lot of time.

Explications :

Remarque : il faut distinguer «  have »  et « have got »  ( lors de la construction de la forme interrogative )

Exemple:

I have many friends ———> question = Do you have many friends

I have got many friends ——> question = Have you got many friends
